Should I hire a marketing agency or use AgentClip?
The useful comparison is not “tool versus people.” It is scope and risk. The right help can be hard to find and hard to afford, and a poor fit costs revisions plus time spent starting over. A single-location owner who will not hire that retainer still needs a way to turn this week’s real work into a post they can stand behind.
Finding the right agency can be difficult, ongoing fees can stretch a budget, and without marketing experience it is hard to judge who can deliver. Use AgentClip when you want a guided, owner-controlled path from a real service to a reviewed, publishable video. Hire an agency when you need strategy, account management, or production you will not do yourself. Neither path guarantees business results.
What AgentClip is responsible for
AgentClip is a marketing operations platform for local businesses. It combines business context, written scripts, scene-by-scene shooting, mobile review, export preparation, and optional publishing support. You stay in control of facts, consent, and whether anything is published.
Starter and Pro are in-app subscriptions on the App Store or Google Play. The website explains the path and does not complete the purchase. Consistent posting is a habit the product helps you keep — not a guarantee of a booked-out calendar.
What an agency is usually hired to do
An agency may provide positioning, a content calendar, on-site production, paid media, community replies, and a monthly report. That can be the right buy if you have multiple locations, a brand standard you will not self-operate, or no one in the building who will film.
Compare written scope, not slogans. If the agency only delivers edited clips and does not sit in your approval path, you still own the risk of claims and client consent. AgentClip does not replace that judgment.
When to talk to AgentClip sales instead
AgentClip Agency is not a self-serve in-app plan and is not a free service. It is a contact-only rollout for multi-location brands, franchises, and operators who need account boundaries and review ownership agreed up front.
A single shop should download the app and try one service first. A group that needs procurement review or a multi-client workspace should use the Agency page and contact sales. Do not treat either option as a guarantee of inbound leads.
